Customisations for your holiday on the Dovre Railway in Norway
As Nordic Visitor specialises in creating bespoke itineraries in Norway, you can easily combine a trip on the Dovrebanen train trip from Oslo to Trondheim with other scenic journeys by land and sea.
The most popular option is to add an overnight Hurtigruten cruise from Trondheim to the city of Bergen, “The Gateway to the Fjords”. Sailing to Bergen, you would have the option to join a guided shore excursion to the picture-perfect Atlantic Ocean Road. After a day or two in Bergen, we recommend taking the Norway in a Nutshell © railway journey back to Oslo, a route that includes a trip on the famous Flåm Railway, a short fjord cruise and a thrilling ride on a steep, twisting mountain road.
