Situated in an 18th century manor house, the Oslo City Museum is dedicated to the over 1,000-year history of Oslo. Exhibitions depict the way of life and culture of city dwellers, with displays of period rooms and paintings portraying the landscape of Oslo throughout the ages. The musuem is located at the south end of the beautiful Frogner Park, near the Vigeland Museum and sculpture installation.
