Nestled in a lush valley along the Aurlandsfjord is Aurland, a small community surrounded by green pastures, glaciers and peaks reaching 1,800 metres (5,900 ft). Here you can visit the beautiful Vangen Church, a Gothic-English style dating back to 1202 or the Aurland Historical Centre with exhibitions tracing Aurland’s interesting past.
