Where Norway, Finland and Russia meet
The Pasvik Valley, located near Kirkenes in Northern Norway, is where the country borders Finland and Russia. There’s a cairn of stones (“Treriksrøys”) where the borders meet, signifying the changing of nations.
This valley is also home to Norway’s largest brown bear population. These animals are known for migrating between the 3 countries, coming and going over the seasons.
