The Norwegian Museum of Cultural History (Norsk Folkemuseum) is an open-air museum with authentic, preserved buildings from different eras, creating a replica of village scenes throughout the ages. Artefacts include furniture, clothing, daily utensils and handicrafts. Even the guides are clad in traditional costumes, giving the visitor a unique glimpse back in time.
