Visit the collection of works by the famous artist behind "The Scream"
The Munch Museum (Munch museet) houses the largest collection of works by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch -- best known internationally for "The Scream" -- who donated his entire collection to the city of Oslo, including about 1,100 paintings, 4,500 drawings, 18,000 prints and numerous other personal artefacts.
This small museum is located next to the botanical gardens in the city’s east side, where the artist spent his youth.
