The raft made famous by Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl
The Kon-Tiki Museum (Kon-Tiki Museet) celebrates the life and achievements of Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl. On exhibition is the original Kon-Tiki balsa wood raft, the papyrus raft Ra II and a model of the Tigris boat. Other relics and films highlighting Thor’s work are also on display.
