Day 1: Arrival to Oslo
Arrive to Gardermoen Airport in Oslo. To get to your accommodation in the city centre, we recommend taking the Flytoget airport express train, which departs every 10 minutes. If you arrive early in the day, we suggest buying an Oslo Pass for free travel on all public transit along with free admission to over 30 museums and attractions plus special offers on entertainment, restaurants, shops and more.

Day 2: Scenic Journey to Geilo
 In the morning, collect your rental car in Oslo and start your journey through the Hallingdal Valley on your way to the charming mountain village of Geilo. This scenic drive takes you past steep ski hills, through beautiful forests and over mountain plateaus with remarkable views. Driving distance approx. 240 km / 149 mi.

Day 3: Waterfalls to Glaciers
Today as you make your way to Lofthus, a small fjord town with views of the Folgefonna glacier, your journey is characterized by such magnificent sights as the Vøringfossen waterfall and the dramatic and narrow Måbødalen valley in the municipality of Eidfjord. Day 4: Bergen - Gateway to the Fjords
Head to Bergen, the “Capital of the Fjords”, where you have the rest of the day to enjoy at your leisure. Don’t miss out on Bryggen, the historic harbour area with its well-preserved old merchant buildings and cobblestone streets dating back over 900 years. Nearby this UNESCO World Heritage site is the lively fish market and other worthwhile attractions like the St. Maria Church, the Rosenkrantz Tower and King Håkon’s Hall. Day 5: Extra Day in Bergen
Today you have another chance to experience all that Bergen has to offer. To see this colourful city from a different angle, we recommend a trip up Mt. Fløyen on the Fløibanen Funicular or a guided mini-train sightseeing tour with the "Bergens Expressen", which offers amazing views over the city from the Fjellveien (“the mountain road”).

Day 6: Sognefjord - King of the Fjords
Start the day by heading to Norway’s adventure capital, Voss, before crossing the magnificent Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. Then enjoy great views of the Jostedal Glacier as you make your way north on the Fjærlands Road to Loen, your final destination for the day. Driving distance approx. 346 km / 215 mi.

Day 7: Glorious Geirangerfjord
Spend the first part of your day exploring the Loen area as you wish, perhaps with a visit to the Hotel Alexandra spa or a refreshing hike in the hills. Further along at Hellesylt the journey continues by ferry in the Geirangerfjord, considered the most beautiful fjord in the world with such sights as the Seven Sisters and Bridal Veil. Day 8: Majestic Mountains & Lom
Enjoy magnificent mountain views and fjord scenery as you head to Lom in the heart of the Jotunheimen range—home to some of Northern Europe’s highest peaks. In this charming little town you can visit one of the few remaining stave churches in Norway or the Fossheim Steinsenter geological museum just a stone’s throw away. Day 9: Olympic Town of Lillehammer
Your last day of driving takes you to Lillehammer, the host city of the 1994 Winter Olympics. Here you can spend some time exploring the Maihaugen open-air museum, the Olympic Museum or the Lysgårdsbakken Olympic Arena. Then it’s time to return to Oslo, where you can enjoy one last Norwegian dinner at one of the city’s many fine restaurants. Driving distance approx. 359 km / 223 mi.
