Day 1: Arrival/Oslo
Arrive to Gardermoen Airport in Oslo. For transportation to your accommodation in central Oslo, we recommend the Flytoget airport express train, which departs every 10 minutes.

If you arrive early, we suggest buying an Oslo Pass for free travel on all public transit along with free admission to over 30 museums and attractions plus special offers on entertainment, restaurants, shops and more. The pass can be purchased at tourist information centres or at most hotels and major attractions in the city. Spend the night at a hotel in central Oslo.

Day 2: Scenic Journey through Forested Dales
In the morning, collect your rental car in Oslo and start your journey along the shores of Tyrifjord towards Hallingdal on your way to the charming town of Geilo. On this scenic drive, you will travel past steep ski hills, through beautiful forests and over plateaus with great views. From Geilo, your drive continues to Lofthus, taking in such sights as the impressive Vøringfossen waterfall—the highest in Norway—and the dramatic and narrow Måbødalen valley along Eidfjord. Spend the night at a hotel in the Lofthus area. Driving distance approx. 370 km / 230 mi.

Day 3: Dynamic Culture in Bergen
From Lofthus, take the shortest road to Bergen, the capital of the fjords, to spend the day there. Bergen is a wonderful city, full of life and culture. In this “must-visit” city, you will find Bryggen, listed by Unesco as a World Heritage site; exceptional old houses; a vibrant fish and flower market; cable cars offering stunning views; great museums; dynamic culture, and more. Spend the night at a hotel in Bergen. Driving distance approx. 139 km / 86 mi.

Day 4: Graceful Glaciers and Grand Fjords
The day will start by heading to Norway’s adventure capital, Voss , then continue to cross the magnificent Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. From Sognefjord, head north and continue to Fjærlands Road, where you will see the graceful Jostedal Glacier, before reaching Loen, your final destination for the day. Spend the night at a hotel in the Loen area. Driving distance approx. 346 km / 215 mi. 

Day 5: Wild Waterfalls in Geiranger Fjord
Start the day by driving to Hellesylt, where you will take the ferry on the Geirangerfjord, which can easily be considered the most beautiful fjord in the world. Here you will find magnificent and impressive waterfalls, such as the Seven Sisters and Bridal Veil. From Geiranger you will head on to Lom, a lovely town situated in the heart of Jotunheimen. In Lom you will find one of the few remaining stave churches in Norway and a geological museum that is well worth a visit. Spend the night at a hotel in the Lom area. Driving distance approx. 178 km / 111 mi.

Day 6: Enjoy an Olympic Town
After a good breakfast, you will take on a full day’s drive, from Lom back to Oslo. On your way to the capital, you will be able to stop at the Olympic town of Lillehammer. End the long but satisfying day by enjoying a good evening meal in one of Oslo’s many fabulous restaurants. Spend the night at a hotel in central Oslo. Driving distance approx. 358 km / 222 mi.

Day 7: Departure Day
For transportation to Gardermoen Airport, we recommend taking the Flytoget airport express train from Oslo Central Station. If your flight is in the afternoon, you have more opportunity to do some last-minute shopping, visit one of Oslo’s many museums or just relax at a café after this enjoyable holiday.
