Day 1: Arrival / Explore Oslo
Arrival at Gardermoen Airport; meet-and-greet followed by transfer to your accommodation in the heart of Oslo City. If you arrive early, we recommend getting the Oslo Tourist Pass, which provides free travel on all public transport, free admission to over 25 museums and sites, discounts on further attractions and sightseeing, restaurants and shops. Stay in a hotel in central Oslo.

Day 2: Climb up to Jotunheimen National Park
Spend the first part of the day exploring the sights and sounds of Oslo before heading north towards Fagernes. In Fagernes you will find the Fagernes Folk Museum - a museum well worth visiting. After passing Fagernes, you will start the climb up to the Jotunheimen National Park and from the Valdresflya Road, you will be able to enjoy your first wonderful view of this impressive mountain area. In the Lom area, you will find your charming mountain cottage or farmhouse where you will be based for the next couple of days.

Day 3-8: Mountains, Fjords and Valleys
With some of Norway’s most magnificent hiking options just outside your doorstep or within a short drive from your cottage, you will have plenty of opportunities to get to know the wilderness and breathe the fresh air of Norway. The area has a well-developed network of footpaths allowing you to find the day tour and hiking terrain that suits you. If you feel like taking on a challenge, you should try some of the activities available in the area, such as rafting, horseback riding, caving, canoeing or the safe climb up the newly designed “Via Ferrata” climbing ladder. If you feel like swimming, the outdoor swimming pool at Dønfoss is a beautiful one and a well worth visiting. Being based in Lom offers countless options for day excursions to nearby areas. From Lom you can drive over Sognefjell, the highest mountain passage in Norway, to the country’s longest fjord, Sognefjorden. The road over Sognefjell is Norway’s first official tourist road and offers wonderful experiences. Another magnificent tourist road is the one over Strynefjell; the drive should be combined with a visit to famous Geiranger and Geirangerfjord. In Geiranger you can take a ferry over Geirangerfjord, which is considered by many, the world’s most beautiful fjord, next to Hellesylt. On Geirangerfjord you will find impressive cascading waterfalls, such as the Seven Sisters and the Bridal Veil.
Day 9: The Lure of Lillehammer
Head back to Oslo. On the way back to the capital, drive the main road through Gudbrandsdalen, where you can stop in Lillehammer - the host town of the 1994 Winter Olympics. Here you can visit the Maihaugen open-air museum, the Olympic Museum and/or the Lysgårdsbakken Olympic Arena. For the younger ones, a visit to the Hunderfossen Family Park should also be considered. Guarded by a 14 meter tall troll, this park offers a myriad of attractions based on Norwegian culture and traditions. Stay is in a hotel in central Oslo.

Day 10: Departure
Transfer by express train to Gardermoen International Airport. If your flight is in the afternoon, then you will have time for some last-minute shopping, a visit to one of Oslo’s many museums, or to just relax at a café after an enjoyable holiday.
