We have three categories for accommodation on this tour: Simple, Comfort and Quality.

Simple

Accommodation is in budget hotels, farmhouses, and well-appointed guesthouses. All rooms are with private shower or bath and WC. Breakfast is always provided and is included in the price. Bed linen is included in the price, but beds are not always made. In the more remote areas, most places of accommodation offer optional evening meals.

Comfort

These are in well-appointed comfort hotels. All rooms are with private shower or bath and WC. Breakfast is always provided and is included in the price. Many have their own restaurant.

Quality

These are in quality four-star hotels or the best hotels available at each location. All rooms are with private shower or bath and WC. All hotels provide breakfast (included in the price) and have their own restaurant.

Accommodation

The hotel offers a different and unique accommodation situated in the centre of Longyearbyen. Inside the hotel you will find drift wood, plank, slate stone and skins from seals, which is more similar to a trapper station than a hotel. We have a high standard with comfortable beds and warm bathrooms in all rooms. Breakfast is served in the Travellers Club at a large timber table, and on the Cognac attic you can watch the Christmas programs on TV, or enjoy the silence with a book. If you are lucky, you may even get a glimpse of the Northern lights through the glass covered attic windows. We welcome you to special and unforgettable Christmas holiday!
